Stopping pollinator decline: one initiative at a time

PoshBee does its best to support sustainable beekeeping and pollination across Europe. However, stopping pollinator decline is a complex objective which requires action on many fronts, including providing updated information on pollinator’s health, monitoring and identifying species in danger, creating national strategies to support the bee sector locally, etc.

Luckily, the PoshBee project is far from being the only one supporting pollinator health. Across Europe, there are many many other research projects, networks, initiatives and organisations working towards protecting pollinators and improving their health. In order to highlight the work conducted by these valuable organisations, we have created a dedicated "Initiatives" section on the PoshBee website, where users can consult some of these relevant bee-supporting efforts.

So as to present the initiatives in a well-organised and user-friendly way, we have divided them into several groups, depending on their specific focus:

  • Information Hubs

  • Wild bee health

  • Honey bee health

  • Agriculture and bees

  • Bees across borders

  • Pollinator monitoring and identification

  • National Pollinator Strategies

  • Beekeeping associations

We hope this page helps stakeholders obtain a more comprehensive overview of all the efforts being put toward supporting sustainable beekeeping and pollination across Europe.

You can consult the initiatives here.
