pan-european assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of stressors on the health of bees
PoshBee attended the 10th ESP World Conference
"10 years advancing ecosystem services science, policy and practice for a sustainable future"
In October 2019, PoshBee joined the 10th World Conference of the Ecosystem Services Partnership, held in the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. About 800 delegates from altogether 66 countries participated in the event.
The conference gathered researchers, policymakers and practitioners working towards a better understanding and application of the concept of ‘ecosystem services’ to NGOs, environmental agencies, educators, policymakers, politicians and the general public. In addition to a broad range of topics on the latest state-of-the-art on the science, policy and practice of ecosystem services, the conference focused on restoring connections between people and landscapes through nature-based solutions.
The H2020 project PoshBee presented its goals and technologies for significantly enhancing the sustainable health of bees and other pollinators in Europe. By sharing experience and know-how with experts, PoshBee raised the profile of ecosystem services and promoted better practices and sustainable strategies.
